You can actually do this job yourself, because you are using an existing circuit. However, you MUST get the work approved and certificated to BS-7671 wiring standards, by law.
If you don’t meet the standards required by N.I.C.E.I.C. regulations, you risk a £5,000 fine.
It’s far better to get a qualified professional to do the job…

the law requires you to have this done by a qualified electrician (we have just had a new cooker installed)
