Does anyone have any preferences on appliance? We are looking at Kenmore, Frigidaire and Whirlpool for a refrigerator, stove and dishwasher.

  1. I would avoid Kenmore, which I think is sold almost exclusively thru Sears. My mother in law bought a kenmore side by side stainless fridge 4 years ago, and the compresser went out. It was past the warranty period, and Sears quoted her $700 to fix it. I would avoid buying appliances thru Sears. Because Kenmore is exclusive to sears, you wont be able to hire anyone else to repair it. And of course they charge you alot of $$!
    I have a maytag stove and dishwasher and have had zero problems with them in the 5 years i have owned them. I just bought a GE french door refrigerator and I love it!
