Pregnant And Living In A Nightmare!!?
i’m 20 …i’m 6 months pregnant and became homeless. i went to to council who put me in temporary accommodation. the problem with this is my money has been held up so the place i’m in only has a bed. no curtains or hot water, no electric or gas, i don’t even have a cover or pillow. i’ve been living like this for almost a week i’m eating cold beans from a tin as cooker can’t work. i’m really worried about my health and the baby. I’ve become sick living like this.
another thing i tried to get a crisis loan to help me out but because i had no ID in my new name they would give me one. i’m stuck what can i do
Go to a church or food bank or call them and ask for some resources like temp housing, food and help.
there are so many places to help from! there are non-profit life foundations out there- contact them they could help! contact maternity homes, that help house, feed, and give you support for the future with all kinds of things including job placement!
ive been in this situation, there is help. you just have to beat against the windows until someone hears you!
Holy crap…you really need to get a life. You have been on here all day asking stupid questions. A tip for you…how and why would a homeless person have access to the net? You can’t even write a believable story.
Amazing ur goin thru this but have a way 2 connect online. Maybe u should try talking 2 ur OB nurse or doctor. I know where I go they have a social worker 2 help u out in just such situations. They maybe able 2 tell u exactly where 2 go and offer some good help.
Well first get your ID back… That is a basic necessity. Also contact WIC. Where are you typing this? You obviously have access to the internet so job search and find churches in your area. Local food shelf. etc.
