Need Some Ideas For Paint Color For Kitchen Cabinets?

Build Your Own Wood Burning Pizza Oven

I have black granite countertops with a travertine diamond pattern backsplash (was already there when I bought the place). I painted the walls white and put in dark hardwood floors. I have all white appliances. The cabniets are horrid outdated wood laminate and are in desperate need of being replaced, but all I can afford is to paint them. I have a sort of bistro theme going and was thinking of painting the base white and all the doors and drawer faces either black or a moss green? Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Have any better ideas?

  1. Sounds like you have some good bones going on. I’m not sure what colors you have in your bistro theme, but I think of red, black, and white. Maybe you could paint the cabinets a red and age them with black or visa versa. Whatever you do, I imagine it will look great. Sounds like you have great taste.

  2. Clean the cabinets with TSP and sand with medium sandpaper. Prime with tinted primer and paint away.http://www.sherwin-williams.com/visualiz…

  3. I think a deep or forest green is a great idea. Black can look really modern in contrast to your white appliances too. Maybe a dark navy blue? Good luck with your kitchen cabinets!

  4. What about red ? Or yellow ?
Those are both great colors for a kitchen.
    Have Fun.
