microwave ovens has any insulation between the inner cavity and the outer shell?

please tell me if microwave ovens have any insulation as i find mine getting hot on the outside cover especially away from the panel side.

   THAT IS NORMAL. MINE DOES THE SAME THING AND IT IS BRAND NEW. IF THERE IS NO SMOKE, NO UNUSUAL NOISE, AND NO BURNING SMELL, (FOOD DON’T COUNT), IT IS FINE. WHEN A MICROWAVE HAS PROBLEMS, IT JUST USUALLY DON’T WORK NO MORE. PS: there is no insulation in a microwave and i have taken apart dozens
