Is There A Law That You Can Not Install A Gas Stove Into A Rental If It Is Over So Many Years Old?

There may be some local ordinances against it and depending on how old the unit is there are no or very primitive safety devices that could cause personal injuries and property damage. If the property owner wants to let himself open for lawsuits and property damage the relatively few dollars saved could be costly.

You’ll need to check your local zoning codes. Go to the nearest Public Library, they should be able to help you.

it would vary by local ordinance but there is no state law prohibiting it.
