Yup, run the black pipe over to your stove for connection
add a shutoff valve between your heater, and your stove, then one at your stove
dont forget to add a T and drop nipple at the stove location for junk in the pipe to drop into…
i dont know if you understand that last part, just look up a diagram on running gas pipe and youll see what i mean
It is more than likely ok to add the stove. To make a guess and say do it without the pipe being sized and checked for proper volume sizing .Is a bad idea.If the gas was not enouph you would be doing the job twice .
!st check sizing then decide on your pipe configuration.
The easiest pipe to us today is the gastite brand or wardflex type . It is not passed for code in all states but it is here in so cal.L.A. Using old black pipe is a thing of the past with all the newage easy to use materials the pipe is as easy to run as romez wire or string. When you have finished running your newe line make sure you leave a test tee and dont hook ity up to the live gas untill it has been pumped up with air at 15 psi and holding. good luck http://www.motocycoplumber.com
It is definately possible, but you may find that the gas line is not big enough to operate both at the same time. You would need to know the gas consumption of each appliance, the pressure in the pipe, the length of the pipe run from your gas meter and the size of the line. Sound too hard?
Try and get a licensed gas fitter to give you a free quote to do the work, when he gets there, he (sorry, or she) should know just by looking at it
