Are the dimensions given for ovens in the online store a measurement of the face or space it needs in the wall

Im not sure whether the dimensions i read for new ovens online are for the face of the oven, or the space it requires in my wall.

   Usually if there are three(3) measurements listed, then this is the Rough Opening( R.O.) required in the cabinet housing the oven. If there are only two(2) measurements listed then it is the ‘face’ as you cited.
