Shrinky Dinks
I’ve hidden things, like dirty dishes and clutter when I have unexpected guests.
Shrinky Dinks ~ they are these plastic toys that the kids paint and then you shrink them into ornaments or little toys that they play with. Weird and quite dangerous because they really get hot!!! The name is truly weird too!!!
light a cig…not for me,i dinnae smoke
i’ve used the oven to dry out my cell phone after i dropped it in a big puddle, it worked perfectly fine afterward too
Not me but a friend of my late Grandmother used to hide her jewellery in it when she went on holiday.
She hid it in cooking fat before it set. When she got home she gently heated it up until it melted enough to take it out.
lighting paper so I could light the gas fire in the living room.
To keep the kitchen warm in the Winter especially if I am working in the kitchen.
Lost the hole-punch needed an extra hole in my belt heated a nail on a gas ring and plunged it through the belt. Nice clean hole.
Keeping my ar$e warm whilst I shagged the girlfriend on the ironing board.
(I have to iron uphill now).
We’ve used it to make crafts, not sure what they’re called but it’s little leads that melt together and form pictures.
put leftovers in it.
Things you don’t need to know about
I’ve used my oven to make my son a “pet” rock- you color the rock then put it in the oven for a few minutes.
making rose oil, it didn’t work. smoking pot.
To warm the kitchen when the electricity went off.
It’s gas, not electric.
I use it to store pots and pans
Hiding and burning teh bodies. :3
I once tried to use the oven to dry out my tennis shoes.
I put dinner in there and used it as heat when the electricity went out.
Doing those one things that you color, and then out in the oven and they shrink. Shrink a dinks?
Hardening pottery that my children have made for me!
Cleaning, i put a bowl of bicarb, white wine vinegar and lemon juice in a tin to clean my oven- works a treat!! x
Standing on to paint the ceiling.
I’ve used the oven to dry out car parts after I’ve degreased them in the dishwasher, but don’t tell my wife.
hiding dirty dishes and used to use an old one years ago as a table top!
I use it to store pots and pans- I once used the microwave oven for drying my little cousin’s underpants.
when my husbands boots are wet, i put the oven on low and put them in there to dry out.
I once used my oven to keep an orphan lamb warm!! Don’t laugh, I wrapped it up in an old towel, swithched the oven on a low heat and opened the drop down door and laid the lamb on it! It worked until the farmer came to rescue it! It was a freezing cold day and it was the quickest way I could think of!! Incidently, I did give the oven a good clean afterwards lol
xx
Edit: I gave you a star coz my mum used to drive me to school in a Hillman Avenger – the bloke next door used to have to push start us every morning and my sister would wait at the end of the road to get in coz she was so embarrased – memories!!!

to heat up the house, to light a cig!!! and the stove to boil bottles!!!
my dad lit a smoke on the stove.

I sometimes climb inside and take a nap on those chilly days
my brother used to put one bit of his motorbike in the freezer so it shrank a little, and warm the other bit in the oven so it expanded a little, to get them to fit back together….
