Any Idea’s About Colour…?
I built this kitchen from scratch..its not finished yet..about 75% done.as there are tiles to go on and cooker hood has to be finished and corner unit to left has to be fitted.plus cornice on wall units has to be cut.and fitted..but the colour on the walls at the minute is brilliant white matt..after tiling with cream and fawn type tiles 4X4 ” what colour for walls do you suggest ..I like soft colours..http://wwwemcsquared.blogspot.com/

Without looking at the link, No offense, one of your prime directives in a paint “color” should depend in part of floor and cabinetry color.
Soft in a generic sense can be anything from a muted Red, to pastels in Greens, Yellows, Blues.
The GOOD news about paint, is that it can be painted over.
For anyone to actually offer, actual color choices, is pretty much a personal opinion, much like a religious or political preference. I think what works for me, might not, for you?

just my two “sense”
Beautiful job on the kitchen. It looks great. I would go with a summer white for the walls and then use some bold accent colors. Another idea would be a sand color. I have included a site that shows a kitchen with summer white. Good luck and enjoy your beautiful kitchen. Click on “whites” to view.http://www.sherwin-williams.com/do_it_yo…
I like accent colors in red or deep green. You can do this with the fabric or accessories. I know this is just a personal opinion but you will know what makes you happy when you see it.
The best time to see Orion is in January. So if you go out this evening at around 9:00 p.m., right Ascension at 5 hours and a Declination of 5 degrees you’ll spot all of it’s famous stars including BETELGEUSE and RIGEL….
Oops….wrong category…
You’ve got warm color hues in it already, so I’d stick w/that . since you like soft, soft browns, or even of golds, light warm terra cotta ( pale soft pumpkin ). Go with a warm color or A soft neutral to stay in color theme. You dont want it to look too busy, but want it to look comfortable , living & pleasing to the eye.
taupe is a cool color. so it white. (the tans good though–its neutral. )
this is gorgeous! A great kitchen, wow!
how does a person post a comment on your blog. I really enjoyed that story -please continue………………………..
Maybe something in the Sage family would be nice:http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h…
Great job by the way.
with fawn and cream color chocolate brown or red will look real good but mint green will also look nice as you want some soft color.
Taupe is big right now, did I spell it right?
Also a khaki color could be nice.
nice job!..i’d leave it white..and do one contrasting wall..cream or light green..
yeh..wheres the next part of your story?
Hey guy, great job so far!…Wow!…Have you thought of yellow?..yes, it is a color most people never think of, but I have found that a beautiful yellow color will cause people to gravitate to the kitchen, and it’s beautiful for mood enhancing, like those nice romantic dinners that the ladies love?..
Yes, I have tried many colors, and I have always gone back to the yellow..Not bright, the soft yellow will surprise you. You can work and decorate around it beautifully…
Can’t wait to see the finished result of your work!…
