Advice on buying an electric cooker and fridge freezer?

Build Your Own Wood Burning Pizza Oven

I have a space of 60cm in between my worktops for each of these appliances, it is better to get an appliance slightly smaller than 60cm (say 55cm) to allow space on either side of the worktops for these appliances or does it not matter?

Freezers need space behind the appliance, not on the sides, so if it fits in the space, it will be o.k.

Stoves need space above and below to expel the heat. Again if it fits on the sides, it will be o.k.

  2. With the Modern units, it DOES NOT matter. Energy efficiency is the key.

What you intend to use it for, how often, and additional requirements should guide you. There are literally hundreds of all units out there. If you have no need for extra bells and whistles, go for the more basic name brand units. They will function the same as their higher end bretheren, in almost every case, and won’t cost you that arm and a leg that we covet.

Write to me, if you have ANY questions. I’ll be glad to help.
