Double Gas Oven Electric Cookers Kitchen Appliances Range parts Tips

I’ve got a (fairly) new electric cooker with solid hotplates and they have been splashed with food and oil, i’ve tried cleaning them with kitchen cleaner and it doesn’t shift the stains. Does anyone know how to clean them??

We are buying a new electric cooker . The old one has to be disconnected and removed before the new one arrives . Is this easy to do or do I need to get an electrician to disconnect and reconnect ?

Most likely dirt and grease, if not the air/gas mixture is adjusted just before the burner. The only other possibility is inadequate gas pressure, not likely.
